Friends Against Hunger is a nonprofit organization focused on feeding people who are hungry in the United States and around the world.
We hold one event each year and during that event we package one million meals.
We have no paid employees and we are fully functional with volunteers.
Our food is given to support local and international feeding programs. Locally organizations such as The Salvation Army, Victory Mission, Webster County Pantry will receive healthy meals.
Also, each year we supply food to Haiti and Central Mexico. In previous years we supplied food to various countries depending on the, then current need. In 2012 we supplied food to the Philippines, in 2013 we supplied 300,000 meals to the East Coast for Hurricane Sandy Victims and in 2014 and 2015 we supplied meals to Liberia for Ebola patients.
Please consider making a donation. Your contribution will feed people.
Donations buy ingredients & supplies used to package healthy meals. We have no paid employees therefore our meals cost just 16 cents. If you would like to donate to cover a specific cost(s) for the event, the table below is a list of some of our ingredients and supplies and the cost associated with them
